Founded in 2021 in Birmingham, Mindful Ai Co. grew out of a machine-learning research group at a West Midlands university. The three founding engineers had spent years watching promising AI prototypes die in PowerPoint decks. They wanted to close the gap between "interesting demo" and "thing that runs in production every day."
Today the team has seven people: five ML engineers, a data architect and a project manager. No sales department. Clients find us through referrals or through this site, and the person who answers your first email is the same person who will architect your solution.
We have delivered 38 production systems to date. Fifteen of those are in healthcare, nine in logistics, and the rest span retail, legal and finance. Every system comes with a monitoring dashboard and a six-month support contract included in the project fee.
